Obituary for Stephen Paul Droege
Stephen Paul Droege, born May 27, 1961, in Peoria, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, in St. Louis, Missouri. He was the beloved son of the late Arthur and Patricia (née Jones) Droege and was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Droege.
Stephen enjoyed golf, soccer, and cheering for his favorite baseball team, the St. Louis Cardinals. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his dry, quirky humor, his quiet spirit, and his big heart.
Cherishing his memory are his beloved daughter, Amanda Marie Droege; siblings Carol Tyra, Susan (Steven) Auer, Liz (Perry) Nolker, Catherine (Mitch) McFatridge, and Tom Droege; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.
Please join us to celebrate Stephen’s life and legacy on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Royale Orleans, 2801 Telegraph Rd., St. Louis, MO 63125.
